Briggs lid numbers are located on the underside of the tank lid using a four digit number pattern starting with 7XXX:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Locate Tank Number

Tanks use a four digit number starting with 4XXX. Briggs tank numbers are located in two places:

1. Back wall of the inside of the tank:
